Scotland’s Future

As an amendment to motion S4M-08707 in the name of Alex Salmond (Scotland’s Future), leave out from "deplores" to end and insert "welcomes the Scottish Government's late conversion to the cause of enhancing childcare; remains concerned that the Scottish Government refuses to use the existing powers of the parliament to address policy objectives; considers that the most effective way of reducing poverty is by getting more people into work, and commends the rise in employment and the fall in unemployment resulting from the policies of the UK Government."
