Approval of SSI

As an amendment to motion S4M-09274 in the name of John Swinney (Approval of SSI), insert at end “but, in so doing, notes the concerns expressed by COSLA about the underfunding of local government, and calls on the Scottish Government to take further action to address the real and increasing financial challenges faced by local government due to increased cost pressures, including deprivation, demographic pressures and the underfunded council tax freeze.”
