Women in STEM Subjects
The motion
That the Parliament believes that the skills gap in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers that has been identified by the union, Prospect, and other campaign groups needs to be tackled and suggests that a minister-led commission should be established to tackle what it sees as the lack of women in STEM occupations and to increase their representation from 13% to at least 30% by 2020.
