As an amendment to motion S4M-14546 in the name of David Stewart (Campbeltown Airport's Bid to Become the UK Spaceport), leave out from "notes" to end and insert "recognises some of the characteristics of Campbeltown’s communication capabilities re supporting air traffic, but suggests that what it considers its difficulties in being so far from the connected major conurbation and international centres make it an unlikely prospect as a major player in the UK and Scottish spaceport project, however considers that it might, if required, play a supportive role to a more likely prospect, such as Prestwick International Airport, with its assets of dual runways, strong international connectivity and generally favourable weather conditions compared with all UK airports.”
