HMP Shotts Dads Group Wins Quality Improvement Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates HMP Shotts Dads Group on winning the Co-production with Families and Services Award at the Quality Improvement Awards 2016; notes that the awards are the first of their kind in Scotland and have been designed to celebrate the range of quality improvement initiatives taking place across the country; understands that the group won the award for its Understanding Your Child Parenting Programme; recognises that the programme resulted in 80% of dads who attended having a greater understanding of their children’s behaviour, and wishes the group all the best in its future work.
