Greencity Wholefoods
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Greencity Wholefoods on its 40th anniversary; notes the role that it has played in the promotion of fairly-traded products in Glasgow and across Scotland; understands that the worker-owned co-operative, with 52 worker members, has an annual turnover of £8 million; notes the calls for local authorities and the Scottish Government to consider how they can support worker co-operatives; acknowledges the work of the co-operative movement and Co-operative Development Scotland in promoting worker co-operatives, and wishes Greencity Wholefoods continued success.
