The motion
That the Parliament notes that the first Fair Tax Fortnight takes place from 9 to 24 June 2018, and that Co-operatives Fortnight takes place from 23 June to 7 July 2018; recognises the contribution of the co-operative movement to the creation of the Fair Tax Mark; recognises that among the organisations that have obtained the Fair Tax Mark are the Co-operative Group and Scotmid Co-operative, which trade extensively in the South Scotland region; notes that the theme for Co-operatives Fortnight is the difference that co-operatives make, and notes that the Fair Tax Fortnight is about urging businesses to pay the right amount of corporation tax at the right time and in the right place.
