Scouts Scotland Provides Free Sanitary Products at Scout Adventure Centres
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Scouts Scotland on its plans to provide free sanitary products at all three of its Scout Adventures Centres in Scotland; understands that the decision follows on from the Right Here, Right Now campaign by the Scottish Youth Parliament, which is a national campaign for young people’s rights, including the right to access sanitary products, and notes that Scouts Scotland has three Scout Adventures Centres in Scotland and the move will not only benefit people in Scouting but also the many young people who use the activity centres for school residential trips or to undertake their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
