City of Edinburgh Council Adopts the Co-operative Party’s Charter on Modern Slavery

That the Parliament notes the unanimous decision of the City of Edinburgh Council to adopt the Co-operative Party’s Charter on Modern Slavery; further notes that this charter is designed to build on legislation and ensure that there is no place for modern day slavery in local government procurement, and calls on all public sector organisations to ensure that there is no place for modern day slavery in their procurement processes.
