South Ayrshire Community Transport KA8 Electric Car Club

That the Parliament congratulates South Ayrshire Community Transport on its award of funding from SP Energy Networks’ £20 million Green Economy Fund; understands that the funding is for the development of the KA8 Electric Car Club in North Ayr; notes that it is one of 13 low-carbon transport and heating projects to be awarded funding from this first round of the Green Economy Fund; understands that SP Energy Networks’ criteria for funding includes reducing emissions and delivering a range of social benefits, and encourages others to apply to the Green Economy fund, which is open for a second round of applications.
