Scotland’s Future Economy

As an amendment to motion S5M-15390 in the name of Richard Leonard (Scotland’s Future Economy), leave out from "believes that" to end and insert "notes the economic forecasts of the Scottish Fiscal Commission, which state that Scotland’s economic growth will continue to be subdued over the next five years and will continue to underperform that of the UK; regrets Scottish Government policies that have made Scotland the highest-taxed part of the UK; believes that it is time for a new direction for Scotland’s economy, and calls on the Scottish Government to work together with the UK Government to capitalise on opportunities arising from the UK-wide industrial strategy.’’
