Young Start Funding for Fersands and Fountain Community Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fersands and Fountain Community Project in Aberdeen on being awarded £80,816 from the Big Lottery Fund’s Young Start programme; understands that the group will use the funding to continue its youth work activities for local people aged 18 to 24, including a lunch club, a sports club, a music group, a programme of activities during the school holidays and an annual residential trip; recognises that the Young Start programme aims to support organisations that help children and young people thrive and realise their potential, and believes that everyone involved in the Fersands and Fountain Community Project will benefit significantly from this funding award.
