Restoration Award for Castle Varrich
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Castle Varrich restoration project on being one of only nine national and international winners of the AABC Conservation Award; notes that the restoration was carried out by Wildland Ltd to repair and preserve the historical monument; notes that the award will be presented at the 2019 Civic Trust Awards in Manchester in March, and encourages Members to travel by the NC500 and visit this 11th century castle while enjoying the north coast.
