Linda Halliday Promotes World Cancer Day
The motion
That the Parliament commends Linda Halliday who it considers has worked tremendously hard to launch World Cancer Day in Scotland; understands that Linda was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that resulted in her travelling to Florida for treatment; notes that Linda has encouraged everyone to wear a Unity Band on World Cancer Day, which takes place on 4 February 2019; notes that Linda has, bravely, used her experience to promote Cancer Research UK, and to make life better for people diagnosed with it, and wishes Linda every success with her future work.
