Students Raise Money for Alzheimer’s Charity
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the efforts of West Calder High School pupils who were awarded £3,000 to support Alzheimer’s Scotland; notes that pupils secured the money from the national Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and came following their impressive presentation on the work of Alzheimer’s Scotland; understands YPI is a skills-based organisation that promotes philanthropy in communities and that this money will contribute to Alzheimer’s Scotland in continuing to provide support and services to people living with dementia, and congratulates the pupils on their hard work in securing this funding.
