The motion
That the Parliament notes with sadness the passing of Linda Tierney, an integral founder of Livi Aid Live, a Livingston music festival that has helped raise thousands of pounds for Marie Curie Hospice Edinburgh since its formation; acknowledges that Linda’s service came in spite of her own diagnosis with terminal cancer; commends her selfless dedication to the charity, and for the all the hard work she put into the community; recognises that her passing is a sad loss and she will be greatly missed, and sends its condolences to her friends, family, and all who knew her.
