Clydesdale Bank Staff Raise Money for the Orkney MS Therapy Centre
The motion
That the Parliament commends the staff of the Kirkwall branch of the Clydesdale Bank on raising £1,540 for the Orkney Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre; understands that the impressive effort was achieved through selling home bakes and raffle tickets in the run up to Christmas; believes that Orkney has the highest rate of MS per-head of population in the world; considers therefore that community efforts such as that by the bank staff are vital in making sure that people affected by the condition are able to access the treatment that they need; thanks everyone who played their part in this latest fundraising effort, and looks forward to the therapy centre putting the money to good use.
