Davidson's of Inverurie Success at Smithfield Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the butchers, John Davidson’s, of Inverurie, on winning two diamond awards and three golds at the prestigious Smithfield Awards in London; understands that the awards are held annually by the Q Guild of Butchers to recognise the best artisan butchers in the country; recognises that Davidson’s won diamond awards for its Christmas tinsel pancetta and Juicy Lucy burger, and gold awards for its wag n’ char cheeseburger, farmhouse pork sausage and char siu guanciale; recognises the importance of craft butchers to the food and drink sector to the Scottish economy; applauds Davidson’s on its latest success, and wishes it well.
