Hollies Day Centre in Musselburgh
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Hollies Day Centre in Musselburgh on receiving £120,000 of lottery funding; notes that the money will be used to provide a range of activities for people aged over 60, including a daily lunch club, exercise classes and inter-generational activities with children from local primary schools; considers that the project will reduce isolation and loneliness by improving opportunities for social interaction and helping improve physical and mental wellbeing, and wishes the centre well with its endeavours.
