Macfarlane Movers Fundraising
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Macfarlane Movers over-60s exercise group on raising £200 for three-year-old Scarlett Moore, who has cerebral palsy; understands that Scarlett’s grandmother is a member of the group and that the money was raised through after-class tea and coffee donations; notes that the money will contribute to ABR (Advanced Biomechanical Rehabilitation) therapy for Scarlett, and thanks the Macfarlane Movers for their generous donation and years of charitable fundraising, having now raised over £12,000 for local causes.
