Barrhead Men's Shed
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Barrhead Men’s Shed on receiving £49,150 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland; understands that the award will allow the group to reach out to more people in the community and to grow their membership from 50 to 80 men; notes that members have the opportunity to learn and to share skills while building new friendships; commends the group for the wonderful work that it does in the community, working with men who may be at risk of loneliness or isolation, and wishes all involved continued success.
