Congratulating Kinghorn Ecology Centre on its Dementia Friendly Status
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kinghorn Ecology Centre on becoming one of the first facilities in Fife to be awarded Dementia Friendly status; recognises that its Tool Shed sessions provide people in early stages of dementia a place where they feel comfortable and supported within the community, as well as providing an enjoyable activity for both those with the condition and their carers, and encourages more businesses and community centres to become dementia friendly.
