Funding Award Success for the Highlands Wildlife Park

That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland on being awarded a first round pass and funding of £100,000 to develop Scotland’s Wildlife Discovery Centre at the Highlands Wildlife Park; notes that the discovery centre will focus on the future conservation of Scottish wildlife and biodiversity; welcomes the National Lottery Heritage Fund providing the initial development funding; notes the potential for a second round application of £1.6 million, and wishes the Highlands Wildlife Park project every success in the future.
