Urbanpods for Cancer Patients
The motion
That the Parliament commends the new partnership between Urbanpods and Team Jak on the creation of new pods for cancer patients; understands that Team Jak provides practical and emotional support for young people up to the age of 25 and their families who are having treatment for cancer; notes that the pods will be used for relaxation for the family, in addition to child and adult counselling; acknowledges that the pods will surround Jak’s Den garden play area; recognises that Team Jak helps 140 families in Scotland, and wishes the charity the very best of luck for the future.
