Glentress Charity Concert
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Peel Café at Glentress will host a charity concert to raise money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health; understands that the concert will feature performances from the Innerleithen-born singer-songwriter, Tommy Ashby, whose songs have recently received extended airtime on BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music, and Guy Hamilton, a local singer who frequently tours Scotland and Europe; acknowledges that the concert is the first of "The Sessions in aid of SAMH", a new local events platform that seeks to destigmatise mental health issues, and wishes both the organisers and artists the best for the event.
