Mid-Deeside Awarded Funding for Electrical Bikes

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mid-Deeside Community Development on being awarded £11,916 from the Transport Scotland e-Bike Grant Fund; recognises that this will go toward providing the local community with eight new electric bikes; acknowledges that the fund is provided to ensure that everyone in Scotland can benefit from affordable access and use of e-bikes, and notes that 27 other organisations have benefited from the £462,000 fund; recognises what it sees as the benefits to the environment, health and fitness in communities where these bikes are accessed, and looks forward to hearing of the positive impact that these new bikes will have on local communities across Scotland.
