Barnardo's Lanarkshire Celebrating Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Barnardo’s Lanarkshire on its recent Celebrating Success event; acknowledges that the purpose of the event was to share in and celebrate the success of the children, young people and families who have worked with Barnardo’s services in Lanarkshire; notes that the event included information stalls, performances by some of the young people involved with Barnardo’s Lanarkshire, and the presentation of certificates; understands that the performances included a drama from the Positives Destinations group, shared experiences from the Youth Housing Support group, a song written and performed by the Creative Faces group, with help from Reeltime Music, and a rap from two members of the Motherwell-based AXIS group; commends the hard work and dedication of the staff and young people who made the event such a success, and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
