Zero Tolerance #AnyWomanAnywhere Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the #AnyWomanAnywhere campaign, which takes place from 1 to 17 March 2019 at Summerhall; acknowledges that the campaign aims to raise awareness of the prevalence of violence against women, the different forms of violence and the extent to which it can affect women’s lives; notes that one in three women experience violence in their lifetime regardless of their background, social status, sexuality, faith or ethnicity; applauds Zero Tolerance, Amina: Muslim Women’s Resource Centre, The Church of Scotland and Summerhall for their efforts in running the campaign, and wishes them continued success.
