Asda Foundation Supports Local Dumbarton Projects
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Asda Foundation’s support for community projects serving people in the Dumbarton constituency; notes that the Asda Foundation is a charitable company that provides independent grants to a range of locally relevant projects in Scotland; congratulates Erskine Hospital, Dumbarton Riverside FC, Bellsmyre Development Trust, Ben View Resource Centre, Bonhill Senior Citizens Association, Rock Community Church and Food for Thought on receiving funding from the Asda Foundation for their projects; recognises that last year the Asda Foundation invested more than £370,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland; commends the Asda Foundation for its charitable work and continuous support of community projects, and wishes all involved every success in the future.
