Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Launches Connect Live Service
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the Connect Live service by Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis; understands that Connect Live provides free and confidential support and advocacy services for women and girls aged 13 and over who have experienced any form of rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, exploitation or sexual harassment; notes that Connect Live offers a wide range of ways to get in touch with the centre, via telephone, text service, Facetime, Skype, email support, Instant Messaging through the centre’s website, and drop-in facilities; recognises that Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis is the largest and busiest rape crisis centre in Scotland; notes that Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis was provided with additional funds by the Scottish Government to tackle the huge demands on rape crisis services, and hopes that this will continue, and thanks their highly skilled and experienced support workers for their hard work and commitment.
