Jenny Sprenger to Represent Scotland in International Arts Festival
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Orkney College student, Jenny Sprenger, on being selected to represent Scotland at the 2019 Venice Biennale of Art; understands that this is an international contemporary art exhibition that will run from May through to November this year; further understands that, as part of the "Scotland + Venice" presentation, Jenny will, alongside 16 other Scots, participate in the 2019 Professional Development Programme in Venice, where they will have an opportunity to develop their personal and professional networks; welcomes the opportunity that this exhibition provides for international collaboration, creativity and communication, and wishes all those involved every success over the coming months and in their future careers.
