Lavender Blue Award Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lavender Blue Glasgow Ltd on regaining its Scottish Wedding Awards title of Glasgow Wedding Florist of the Year, an award that it first won in 2014 and again in 2016 and 2017, as well as winning the title for 2018 Scottish Wedding Florist of the Year; notes that its first award for 2019 was at the Glasgow Retail Business Awards for the title, Florist of the Year for Glasgow; understands that the business opened in 2010 on Hyndland Street, Partick in Glasgow and has, despite turbulent economic conditions, managed to sustain its business through an emphasis on customer care, hard work and substituting all plastic wrapping for more sustainable products; commends the owner and staff at Lavender Blue Glasgow Ltd, and wishes them continued success for the future.
