Resume College Pay Talks

That the Parliament notes with disappointment that the college lecturers pay talks between Colleges Scotland and EIS-FELA earlier in February 2019, ended after just three minutes; understands that further industrial action is planned as a result of the apparent unwillingness of Colleges Scotland to negotiate; considers that EIS-FELA has made a fair proposal on pay, which seeks to provide a cost of living increase in keeping with the current public sector pay policy, and urges the Scottish Government, for the sake of students and their lectures, to intervene and facilitate an agreement to end this dispute.
