Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2019
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that 4 to 8 March marks Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2019; notes that this annual campaign, which is coordinated by Skills Development Scotland and partners, celebrates the achievements of individual apprentices and all those who contribute to their success; highlights the value of the apprenticeship "family" to individuals, businesses and the economy; understands that this year’s theme is Skills for the Future, which recognises the importance of investing in the workforce; understands that a growing number of employers and training providers are offering modern, graduate and foundation apprenticeship opportunities, and notes the calls for Members to take part in a local visit or event as part of the week.
