Congratulating Ellie Fergusson and Edinburgh Dance Academy
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 14-year-old Ellie Fergusson from Livingston on winning the first series of the BBC's The Greatest Dancer competition; notes that Ellie is a pupil of the Edinburgh Dance Academy (EDA) based in Corstorphine, West Edinburgh, a dance school that teaches dance of all varieties to children in venues across the capital; applauds the work of organisations like EDA in getting children and young people to develop a passion for dance and physical activity; understands that Ellie will be helping EDA to encourage a new generation of dancers in Edinburgh through demonstration and mentorship, and wishes her every success in her future dancing career.
