Orkney Young Farmer Nominated for Member of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates George Low of Orkney’s East Mainland Young Farmers Club on being nominated as Member of the Year in the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) Awards; notes that George is one of 11 members of the SAYFC across Scotland who has received such a nomination; believes that this is recognition of George’s tireless efforts within the local East Mainland and wider Orkney organisations, including various fundraising initiatives and taking the lead in club competitions; believes that George is an excellent role model within his local community and the farming industry, and wishes him and the other nominees the very best for the remainder of the competition.
