The Irvine Branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Irvine Branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland on being awarded £20,000 by the SUEZ communities trust to upgrade its facilities; recognises that the legion provides lifelong support for veterans; commends its provision of recreational facilities and organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the ex-service men and women, and wishes all who carry out its work continued success in changing the lives of the many people that they help through their inspirational example.
