Glenrothes Dementia-friendly Health Classes Hailed a Success
The motion
That the Parliament commends the specially designed health classes that support people with dementia and are run by the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre in Glenrothes; understands that these have been hailed as a success and were awarded dementia-friendly status in 2018; notes that they offer a friendly and accessible space for all; acknowledges that the staff have received awareness sessions from Alzheimer Scotland; understands that Dementia Friendly Glenrothes is an initiative between Fife Health and Social Partnership, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, Active Fife, Alzheimer Scotland, Fife Forum and Fife Cultural Trust, and sends its best wishes to the staff and the attendees.
