International Women's Day in the Outer Hebrides
The motion
That the Parliament commends Back Football and Recreation Club for its third event, to be held on 9 March 2019, celebrating International Women’s Day; acknowledges the hard work that the community and the co-ordinator, Terri Davis, put into co-ordinating this event; notes that it promotes and celebrates businesswomen and female artists in the Outer Hebrides, and commends the focus that it places on health and wellbeing in the lives of women, and particularly those living in rural and peripheral areas.
