Recognising Tannochside Information and Advice Centre
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Tannochside Information and Advice Centre has received a grant from the Awards for All Scotland programme; acknowledges that the organisation has worked extensively, following the ceasing of its core funding by the local authority, to access grant funding to continue to provide an invaluable service to the local community; understands that this latest funding will be used to progress the development of a volunteer programme and support new young volunteers into the organisation to continue to build on the centre's success into the future; believes that it is absolutely essential to support projects that assist local communities such as this; congratulates Tannochside Information and Advice Centre on receiving this funding and on the work that it does, and wishes all those involved the very best for the future and a successful volunteering programme.
