Coady Dorman Wins Amazing Strength Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Coady Dorman, who is from West Lothian, on winning the Amazing Strength title at No 1 magazine’s Amazing Women Awards; notes that this category "recognises women who have succeeded in showing strength in the face of adversity, bouncing back stronger than ever"; recognises that Coady was nominated in recognition of her work with Scottish Women’s Aid and as a community ambassador for Bliss Scotland, which helps and supports premature babies and their families; understands that Coady’s own son was born 11 weeks premature and that she continues to spread awareness about premature birth, and wishes her well with her endeavours.
