Working Collaboratively, Versus Arthritis
The motion
That the Parliament commends Versus Arthritis for its project, Joint Potential Plus, which has helped establish a sustainable and integrated pathway through transition and rheumatology clinics for young people aged 16 to 25 living with arthritis; recognises that the project and the rheumatology team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary were awarded the 2018 Self-Management Partnership of the Year Award; notes that the self-management programme of activities is co-delivered by young people with arthritis, helping connect young people living with the condition, as well as prompting self-management; acknowledges the collaborative nature of the project, which promotes partnership between clinical teams and the third sector and peer support networks; highlights the partnership of the rheumatology team in Aberdeen with Versus Arthritis to deliver care and support to young people with arthritis, and wishes the project continued success in the future as further partnerships are developed.
