Rainbow Rogues Awarded £48,373 National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Rainbow Rogues nursery near Ellon on securing £48,373 from Big Lottery Fund Scotland; understands that the money will help the nursery to continue to deliver its dedicated playgroup sessions to families from across central Aberdeenshire who have a child under five years of age with a disability or additional support needs; notes that sessions run by the group provide an opportunity for each child to learn and develop at their own rate, while parents are supported to improve the wellbeing of the whole family; acknowledges that Big Lottery Fund Scotland is focused on distributing National Lottery good cause funding to help people and communities most in need throughout Scotland; recognises the importance of groups like Rainbow Rogues that provide support to children with a disability or additional support needs, and wishes all involved well.
