Collydean Community Centre Receives Big Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Collydean Community Centre, which is in Glenrothes, on receiving £122,805 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland; understands that the centre will use the funding to employ a centre manager, who will be responsible for maximising community use of the centre by local people and community groups; notes that the money will also be used to improve access to the building by installing external ramps and an internal platform lift; recognises the vital services that will be offered at the revamped Collydean Community Centre, and wishes the new manager, Rose Duncan, every success for the future.
