Awards for All Funding for Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC (STS) on receiving a £7,000 Awards for All Scotland grant; notes that the funding will be used toward the building of a workshop, teaching space and meeting room at its site on the Kinneil Estate in Bo’ness, providing space for the group to deliver community learning activities and improve community access to the estate; commends Sean Kerr and Steve McQueen, directors of STS for the work that they have done in creating their community interest company, which supplies fresh fruit and vegetables to local foodbanks, as well as using sustainable techniques for growing and cultivating its produce and maintaining land; further congratulates STS on securing this funding, and wishes it continued success in its work serving the community in Bo’ness.
