Awards for All Funding for the Braveheart Association
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes that the Braveheart Association has received £8,287 from the Awards for All Scotland programme; notes that the association, which is based at Falkirk Community Hospital, offers a range of health-related activities to help people live healthier lives; understands that it will use the funding to deliver healthy living activities for older people with health problems within the communities of Grangemouth, Camelon, Bainsford and Langlees in Falkirk district; recognises what it sees as the importance of projects such as the Braveheart Association in helping people to remain active and stay healthy, as well as providing a social aspect for people, which helps to tackle social isolation and loneliness; congratulates the project on securing this funding, and wishes everyone involved the very best for the future.
