Fife Employment Access Trust

That the Parliament congratulates the Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) on its 25th anniversary; recognises the charity's hard work in helping people who have mental health conditions into employment and its partnership approach to eliminating stigma; notes that its projects include Employ Your Mind, which uses cognitive remediation and medical treatment and employability training, Mind Your Mind, which delivers group sessions on mindfulness, Journey to Work, which offers tailored support to help people get back into work, Grow your Mind, which is an outdoors initiative that helps people with complex enduring conditions build confidence and self-esteem, gain work experience and take up volunteering opportunities, Heart, Mind and Soul, Silverburn, which is a community collaboration project with Fife Council to restore and regenerate Silverburn Park in Leven into a centre of wellbeing, Remploy Connect, which supports former Leven Remploy staff into new employment, training and volunteering, Collydean Community Connections, which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the town, and Our Minds Matter, which are mindfulness classes in primary and secondary schools; acknowledges its role in the Fife Employment and Training Consortium to prepare people on a pathway to focused job searches; congratulates FEAT on being given a Centre for Social Justice award for its work, which was presented in London on 5 March 2019 and included a £10,000 grant; looks forward to what it hopes will be the continued success of its projects, and sends FEAT its best wishes.
