Rhu Primary School Receives Sixth Green Flag Award

That the Parliament congratulates Rhu Primary School on receiving its sixth Green Flag award; welcomes its “War on Plastic” initiative to reduce single-use plastic in the school canteen and also at home; praises the efforts of the pupils in reducing energy consumption with plans to have a “Switch-Off Fortnight”; appreciates the ongoing actions of the school organising regular local litter cleans at the park, beach and in the woods; notes also that the school set up a campaign to prevent dog fouling; commends the school on promoting a healthy lifestyle among the pupils; applauds the school on plans to take forward the issues of waste minimisation, water and litter; commends the school for its initiative, and wishes everyone involved every success in the future.
