Orchard Brae School, Aberdeen, Green Flag Award Winner

That the Parliament congratulates Orchard Brae School in Aberdeen on being the latest in the city to receive the Green Flag award from the Eco-Schools Scotland initiative, which is run by Keep Scotland Beautiful as part of the worldwide Foundation for Environmental Education, and recognises schools that involve pupils, staff and the wider community in projects that explore sustainability and the environment; acknowledges that the school was only opened by Aberdeen City Council in 2017 and provides schooling for children with special educational needs from across the city; recognises that it is the 23rd in Aberdeen to have received this accolade, and commends all the staff and pupils on their hard work towards gaining this.
