STUC Union Rep Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all of the winners and nominees at the STUC Union Rep Awards on their outstanding commitment to organising in their unions, workplaces and communities; applauds Lisa McGuinness, who is an FDA learning rep at HMRC on being presented with the Helen Dowie Award for Lifelong Learning, and Linda Ford, who is a Prospect Equality rep at the James Hutton Institute, on winning the Equality Award; commends the PCS branch at the National Museum of Scotland on being named the winner of the Frank Maguire Award for Health and Safety, and UNISON Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which won the Organising Award; appreciates that these activists and their fellow nominees are committed to improving conditions in the workplace, from workplace learning to health and safety, and applauds them all on their fantastic achievements.
